Dr. Rekha Mudhol, MS, DOMS, Ph.D. (Med), currently holding the position of Professor, Department of Ophthalmology at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, KAHER, Belagavi Karnataka was born and brought up in Davangere. She has a stronghold in academics and is a voracious reader and as a result of her strong basics, in 1986 she completed her MBBS at JJMMC, Davangere followed by DOMS and MS Ophthalmology at JNMC, Belagavi by 1993 and was awarded the prestigious Harimohan Gold Medal for highest proficiency.

I am a veterinarian who interested in every aspect of vaccinology whether it was animal vaccines or human vaccines. I started this career 12 years ago when I joined the department of viral vaccine production at veterinary research institute. Since then I have been very eager to this part of science and it is benefits to both human and veterinary public health. I spent my first three years in tissue culture vaccine unit, mean while I learned and practiced the principle of tissue culture vaccines, and more than five years in poultry vaccines unit producing the locally produced vaccines and testing the imported poultry vaccines for registration. I have contributed in many researches related to vaccines, and then my journey for vaccine production and development had began. Spending more than 8 years in the area of vaccine production, quality control, and vaccines development provides me with good skills toward career in vaccinology. Then I realized that clinical trials are essential for vaccine development. thus, I completed the Johns Hopkins’s two online offers of, vaccines trial methods and best practice, and the Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials via courser, then completed the Pennsylvania’s online offer of vaccines , and the Pittsburgh’s online offer of Epidemics, Pandemics and Outbreaks. To understand the research ethos I completed a postgraduate diploma in research methodology and biostatistics from University of Medical Science and Technology (UMST) by 2013(Sudan), then vaccine research become my passion. I also had many short courses in molecular biology, advanced bioinformatics, and biotechnology. In 2010 1attended short course in human and veterinary vaccinology at Oxford University, department for continuing education, from which I learned the principle aspects of vaccinology, then in 2011 I had two months training in applied biotechnology from China in which I practiced gene cloning, recombinant technology, and the molecular biology techniques, when I came back home I engaged in a very hectic days of research to control the Newcastle disease virus in our commercial farms and the Sudanese village chickens. now I finished the requirements of master degree in this regard. My research topic was to develop ND Inactivated vaccine and to produce live thermostable (ND) vaccine, to control the disease in Sudanese village chickens. As a result this vaccine was successfully reproduced in an industrial scale and tested in a large clinical trial including two Sudanese states of Sinar and northern kordofan states.Later this vaccine is approved by the local authority to be used as a seasonal vaccine in many states to compact the deadly ND virus. Regarding the inactivated ND vaccine is now ready for demand i.e. the technology for viral inactivated vaccines now is ready and well established in our country. Thanks to the five years of dedicated research and to the technology and the knowledge that I hade obtained from china and Oxford University. Millions of doses are now ready for demand from the live ND thermostable vaccine and millions of the inactivated vaccine can be ready as well.

Dr. Tanveer Alam received his Ph.D. Degree in the field of Natural Product Chemistry from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India in 2001. From Nov. 2000 to Sept. 2001, he was a Research Associate at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India, and worked on the synthesis of water-soluble derivatives of Silymarin. Upon completion of his education, he started his career as an Executive-R&D in a Natural Flavor & Fragrances Company, and afterward, he had served as General Manager & Head-R&D in different National & Multinational Natural Product Industries.
Dr. Alam has more than 20 years of R&D experience in the field of Natural Products Chemistry. He has been worked as Associate Professor at Eritrea Institute of Technology, State of Eritrea. He is a Ph.D. supervisor in JJT, University, Rajasthan, India, and Visiting Professor at BioNatural Healing College, California, USA. Rajeshwar Malavath has completed his M.Sc. (Ag) in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from ANGRAU, Hyderabad, and Ph.D. from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Coimbatore, India. He has more than 18 years of experience both as Mandal Agricultural Officer for about 2 years, Research and Transfer of technology for 10 years, and teaching at Agricultural University for about 6 years. Ziyad S. Haidar is a Full Professor of Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering and the Scientific Director of the Facultad de Odontología, Universidad de los Andes in Santiago de Chile. Concurrently, Prof. Dr. Haidar is the Founder and Head of the Biomaterials, Pharmaceutical Delivery and Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Tissue Engineering Laboratory and Research Group (BioMAT'X Chile; please visit: http://www.uandes.cl/facultad-de-medicina/biomaterials-pharmaceutical.html). Before moving to Chile, he served as Associate Professor of Bioceramics and the Chair of Excellence in BioEngineering at the Université de Limoges, Limoges, France and was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry (cross-appointment with Department of BioEngineering), University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, USA. Haidar served between 2010 and 2012 as Adjunct Professor of Head and Neck Surgery and the Scientific Director of the Research Center at Inha University Hospital, Seoul, South Korea. He has won several prestigious awards from the International Bone and Mineral Society, Society for Biomaterials, Canadian Biomaterial Society as well as the Canadian and Lebanese Societies of Plastic Surgeons, to name a few. He is an international speaker with more than 125 publications, conference proceedings, text-books and patents and is an editorial board member of several national and international scientific journals and periodicals.

Besides Biodiversity research, Dr. Tsabang Nolé teaches Ecology, Ecophysiology, Ethnobotany, Ethnopharmacology, Environmental sciences, Agroforestry, Sustainable development, and Traditional medicine, at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, at the University of Dschang and at the Higher Institute of Environmental Sciences as visiting lecturer. Dr. BHAVANAM SUDHAKARA REDDY, has interest in development of the different modules and videos for teaching of different clinical cases in veterinary clinics for the under graduate students. He developed around 600 video lectures, power point presentations, charts and practical modules till now. As researcher he worked on “Diagnostic and therapeutic studies on recurrent pyoderma in Canines” and succeeded the identification of the different etiological factors responsible for this condition and with appropriate therapeutic protocols. Specialisation in advanced diagnostic modalities including electrocardiography, ultrasonography, echocardiography and endoscopy for diseases diagnosis in different livestock including dogs, cats, rabbits, exotic birds, horses, cattle, buffaloes, sheep and goats. Special interest on teaching of importance of diagnostic modalities to the under graduate students with reference to clinical cases. Presently acting as Editorial Member for the six International and National peer reviewed Journals and Reviewer for the many Journals.
Dr. Martins completed his undergraduate Science degree at the University of Western Australia in 1984, then completing an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry in 1986. In 1987 he commenced a Ph.D. studying the role of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) in diabetes (Hackett Scholarship). In 1993 he was awarded a Saw fellowship from the University of Western Australia to conduct studies relating to the metabolism of chylomicrons and their remnants and the influence of size and composition on their clearance from blood and its importance to atherosclerosis. He is is an Editor/Reviewer for Open Acess Pub/MDPI journals, Scientific Research Publishing, and various other international journals. Advisory Board Member for Photon Journal.
