Seckin ERTUGRUL, Dental Doctor (Ph.D.-Periodontology), now is an Associate professor of Periodontology, head of the Izmir Katip Celebi University Dentistry Faculty Department of Periodontology, members of the Turkish association of dentists, European Federation of Periodontology and Turkish Federation of Periodontology. He got his Master's Degree at Hacettepe University, Dentistry Faculty and He got his Ph.D and Specialist Dr. in Periodontology, at Selcuk University Dentistry Faculty. His PhD Thesis is about Periodontal, Biochemical and Immunohistochemical Analysis of Patients with Lichen Planus.
She is a Registered Nurse/ Midwife and holds a BNSc. (Nursing), PGD (Education), MSc. (Medical Sociology), Ph.D (Medical sociology), Ph.D (Advance Midwifery & Neonatology). She also has a certificate in HIV/AIDS Food & Nutrition Security, certificate in HIV Counselling & Testing, Behaviour change communication and health promotion. With her wealth of knowledge, skills and disposition for capacity building, interdisciplinary teamwork, and communication and information technology competence, she has been involved in several researches in the field of HIV/AIDS. Dr. Othman Alfleesy had participated and contributed to numerous International conferences ( has presented papers or posters). He has attended a number of national and international conferences, scientific sessions & workshops(including workshops of WHO). He also has published a number of valuable pieces of researches in a number of international scientific Journals, (in which he forwarded (for the first time) solutions for 1- sudden infant death syndrome(SIDS),(Alfleesy Hypothesis ).2-He had explained Bangungut (Pok Kuri) phenomenon and put a solution for this dilemma.3- Also he discovered a wrong theory of Zuckerman for oogenesis (1951) .4- Alfleesy discovered the wrong theory of Calvin Bridge(1909) for nondisjunction extra chromosome 21 and Down Syndrome), in his theory, Calvin determined mothers as a direct cause of trisomy 21 and Down Syndrome children (maternal cause), which was not correct at all. Alfleesy proposed a new scientific suggestion. Alfleesy has announced an appeal to all mothers in the world that they are not responsible or the cause for Down Syndrome children as the scientists had claimed for a century. He is the author of two books. The forensic medicine book, which had wined the University award in 2000. And the other book: medical ethics. He is also an Editorial Board member in a number of International Journals.

He has obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) for his work titled “Salivary and serum metabolomics in oral leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma” and his field of interest includes oral pre-cancer, oral cancer, salivary diagnostics, metabolomics, and oxidative stress. He has several scientific publications and actively contributes as a peer reviewer to numerous journals. He is an active member of the editorial board of several journals of repute. I am an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Minia University, Faculty of Medicine, Egypt, and an Associate Consultant of ophthalmology at Security Forces Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am pursuing a career in researches because of my passion for Ophthalmology and its branches, especially the anterior segment of the eye. I worked in Japan at Kitasato University Hospital as an invited researcher for 3 years. I hope to achieve a landmark in this major segment and satisfy my curiosity to undiscovered studies on this branch of Ophthalmology.
