Prof. Ferlito graduated in medicine from the University of Bologna in 1968. He completed his residency program in otolaryngology and subsequently in pathology. He worked at the ENT Department at Padua University from 1970 to 1997. He was a Formerly Director of the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Udine School of Medicine from 2003 to 2009 and Professor and Chairman of the ENT Clinic at the same University from 1997 to 2013. He is the Editor of four issues of ORL Journal for Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Prof Ferlito has been the author or co-author of 724 referred publications in 87 medical journals and 54 chapters in various books.
Chief interests in the promotion of international cooperation in head and neck surgery, oncology, and cancer research.
Elham Sadeghi graduated top of her class at Urmia University of Medical Sciences in 2013, and she completed again the top of master's degree class in 2015 at Urmia University of Medical Sciences. Now She is studying for PhD at Istanbul University. she has worked 5-years at the General Directorate of Health Affairs. The Iranian native now stays in Istanbul for she is a member of Istinye University staff.

Dr. Shirin Tarafder is a Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Bangladesh. She is a strong professional with a Master of Philosophy in Medical Microbiology from the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research. She is an experienced teacher of undergraduate and postgraduate courses and teaches Medical Immunology, Molecular biology, Mycology and Bacteriology for more than 30 years. Her other expertise is conduction, management and supervision of research project; supervision and guide of thesis and dissertations of postgraduate courses. She has published over 44 articles in peer-reviewed reputed International and national medical journals. She also has international affiliations. She is working in collaboration for autologous stem cell therapy; also working on the application of different types of PCR to see the chromosomal abnormalities in different diseases, Coordinated Research Project of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease by ApoE genotyping. She has done advanced researches on Tuberculosis: Detection of different strains of MTB by 24 loci MIRU-VNTR analysis in MDR-TB, Pre-XDR-TB and XDR-TB patients; Diagnosis of MTB from sputum sample by LAMP assay; Detection of MDR-TB, Pre-XDR-TB and XDR-TB by Multiplex Real-time PCR. Her other researches are on Rickettsiae, Legionella, Toxoplasma etc.

Dr. Omur received his Ph.D. degree (Reproduction and Artificial Insemination) in 2011 from Selcuk University. He had attended several National/International Conference, international programs. He was involved in national and international research on animal reproduction. His research focuses on freezing sperm in farm animals and investigating the effectiveness of antioxidants on reproductive parameters in rats. He is also interested in the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of fertilization and sperm cell energy metabolism. Besides, he is a Ph.D. student of Biochemistry and an undergraduate student of Molecular biology and genetics, Atatürk University.
Dr. Vaibhavi obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Shree B.G. Patel College of Physiotherapy, Sardar Patel University in 2016 and completed a Master of Physiotherapy (Pt in Neurology and Psychosomatic Disorders) from Shree B.G. Patel College of Physiotherapy, in 2018. She has 6 years of professional experience as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Post Graduate physiotherapist.
Mercedes Hurtado-Sarrió was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1962. She was resident in training in ophthalmology (1989-1993) in La Fe University Hospital, and received the PhD degree in 1994 from the University of Valencia with the doctoral thesis entitled “Corneal topographic analysis. Computarized videokeratography”.
About professional and clinical experience, she has worked in several hospitals: Tarragona (Barcelona), Elda Hospital (Alicante), La Ribera Hospital (Valencia), Arnau de Vilanova (Valencia), and nowadays in La Fe University and Polytechnic hospital (last eighteen years). Dr. Keith Klostermann is a marriage and family therapist at Wheatfield Pediatrics. He also serves as the Director of Education and Competence for the International Center for Clinical Excellence (ICCE), an international think tank focused on continuously reviewing and disseminating research about what works in therapy. He is an internationally-recognized expert in the use of Behavioral Couples Therapy for Substance Use Disorders (BCT-SUD). Dr. Klostermann is licensed as both a mental health counselor and marriage and family therapist, is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and is recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and certified family therapist (CFT). The American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) recognizes Dr. Klostermann as a Diplomate and Clinical Mental Counseling Specialist in Couples and Family Counseling, Child and Adolescent Counseling, and Military Counseling.
In addition to his roles at Medaille, Dr. Klostermann has also served as a clinical consultant for numerous agencies (e.g., the Calgary Counselling Center in Calgary, Alberta; Phoenix House in New York City, Best Self Behavioral Health, Buffalo, NY) in their implementation of BCT-SUD. Dr. Klostermann is recognized by the national VA Healthcare System as a couples therapy content expert and served as one of the lead trainers in their national implementation of BCT for treating individuals with substance use disorders. Most recently, Dr. Klostermann served as a Co-Investigator with colleagues from Edinburgh University to implement BCT-SUD in Edinburgh, Scotland. The results of this study are being used to inform larger-scale BCT implementation efforts across Scotland.
Ph.D. Thesis Title: Anti-Poverty Policy in Egypt: Food Subsidy or Conditional Cash Transfer. The main aim of the thesis was to evaluate Egypt's food subsidy system and stimulate CCT replacement to food subsidy. It also aimed to provide a background for policymakers & supporting them in directing public policy to what guarantees higher utility for poor families. In an attempt to satisfy this need, the researcher had to scrutinize social safety nets within economic contexts as well as analyzing the Egyptian social safety net. This also required exploring labor market policies that would affect poor families in Egypt over history.

He has been a co-principal and investigator for various research projects of many postgraduates (MD, MS, M.Sc.). He has published almost 62 research publications for the last 5 years. He is the leading member of the technical committee and chairperson of B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Medical Sciences- SAS Nagar (Mohali).
