A Functional Nutrition Solution for Chronic Disease Prevention and Community Wellness

There is an increasing prevalence of lifestyle disorders such as Diabetes, Obesity, and PCOS among Indians. Recent transformations and trends in the food industry have brought many unhealthy changes in the diet, leading to many lifestyle disorders. There has been a fascination with fancy diets in recent years. Magic pills, quick fixes for weight loss, and shakes for fitness have gained popularity. To achieve all of these changes, it is necessary to integrate functional and food innovations into daily diet habits. The busy schedules and lack of time to cook and eat have also led to people with poor dietary habits, which can lead to severe micronutrient deficiencies. This study introduces a novel Add–On Flour mix System designed to enhance nutritional value through personalized, condition–specific flour
combinations.

The system is equipped to fulfill customers' needs for fiber, low glycemic index, protein-rich ingredients, bioactive herbs,  icronutrients, gut health, and hormonal regulation by using a base flour and modular add-on blends. The integrated AI system tracks  he client details and generates the customized add-ons. This concept is implemented through a smart mixing kiosk that allows real-time, user-customized flour preparation.

Preliminary assessments of user acceptability and glycemic impact have revealed the significant potential for improving diet adherence and reducing postprandial glucose spikes. The system's low-cost, scalable, and culturally integrated design makes it suitable for use in public health nutrition programs and lifestyle intervention models for diverse populations. This innovation is designed to guarantee compliance by bridging the nutritional gap and aligning with current culinary practices. Individuals who rely solely on their regular diets and do not take supplements to fill nutritional gaps and improve diet diversity.
