Yiqing Li is a professor and forest ecologist at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. He conducts research on the tropical and subtropical forest ecology, with a focus on mechanisms of below-ground processes of forest ecosystems. He is interested in field experiments of climate change manipulation, especially the soil warming effects on both natural forests and plantations in tropical and subtropical regions. He also conducts research on invasive species control and native forest restoration in the tropics. He is a core principal investigator of the collaborative research project “Manipulating and modeling climate change effects on tropical and subtropical forest production and biodiversity”, an integration of research programs that study global change in tropical forest ecosystems. Recent and ongoing research activities include: integrated understanding of climate-induced tree mortality and forest die-off, invasive species assessment, and ecological restoration of dry forests and woodlands in Hawaii. He teaches graduate and undergraduate course Forest Hydrology and Watershed Management, Forest Restoration and Tropical Soils. He serves several editorial boards of forestry and agricultural journals.

She worked as an Agricultural Engineer from 1988-1990 in the private nursery, from 1990-1994 as temporarily in the greenhouse of Ministry of Agriculture, from 2001-2007 assistant researcher in Central Laboratory for Date Palm Research and Development, Agriculture Research Center. She has actively participated in various national and international conferences and workshops. She has published more than 20 papers and also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer in various national and international journals.

Farshid Talat had his BSc. degree in Agronomy and Plant Breeding from Urmia University in 1997, Iran, and then earned MSc. degree in 1999 from Tehran University, Iran in Plant Breeding-Biotechnology. He earned his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the field of Biotechnology-Genome Sequencing in 2014. He was appointed as a research scientist of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) of Iran from 1999 till now and he has more than 80 papers in the field of plant breeding, plant architecture, biotechnology, and bioinformatics and supervised more than 25 MSc students.

Rajeshwar Malavath has completed his M.Sc. (Ag) in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry from ANGRAU, Hyderabad, and Ph.D. from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural College and Research Institute, Coimbatore, India. He has more than 18 years of experience both as Mandal Agricultural Officer for about 2 years, Research and Transfer of technology for 10 years, and teaching at Agricultural University for about 6 years. He has a consistently good academic record and has attended 13 training programs and presented papers at 24 national conferences/ workshops. He has published 46 research articles in reputed journals in relation to soil pedology, Remote sensing and GIS, Soil fertility, and crop production aspects. In addition, he has published more than 60 popular articles for the welfare of the farming community in the local language and attended more than 50 live Television and Radio programs.

During my 10 years of research (3 Years Predoctoral+7 Years Post Doctoral ), I have been deeply involved in entomological research and agricultural extension activities. I worked as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, a project entitled “Registration of farmer varieties and model mechanism for benefit sharing under PPV&FR act Phase-II”. I conducted IPM trails on cotton, chickpea, okra, rapeseed-mustard, brinjal, and cole crops in Gujarat, M.P., Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Punjab during my association with TERI as Research Associate (R.A.). I have also worked as Senior Research Fellow (SRF), a project entitled “Scale-up production and development of a cost-effective formulation of Entomopathogenic nematodes (EPN)” at IIPR, Kanpur. Apart from this, I was actively involved in organizing conferences and short term training program. I was received training on "To develop biopesticides as a cottage industry and development of entrepreneurship among rural youths" from Biological Control Laboratory, G.B.P.U.A.&T., Pantnagar.

Dr. J. Shankaraswamy graduated in Horticulture from Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University in 2005 and secured ICAR national fellowship for his Masters in Post-Harvest Technology and he moved to Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya, West Bengal as a Post-graduate student in Post-harvest technology of horticultural crops. He received Ph.D. in horticulture, specialization in Fruit Science from the Junagadh Agricultural University, Gujarat in 2013. Prior to Joining the SKLTSHU as faculty, Dr. Shankaraswamy was working with Keventer Agro as a Post Harvest technology expert in association with Parley Agro, from 2007-2008. From 2008-2009, He worked as a Senior Researcher in the Directorate of Medicinal Aromatic Plants Research Under the project of the National Medicinal Plant Board and he served several institutes as Assistant Professor in Amity International Centre for Post-Harvest Technology, Amity University, Noida, Lovely Professional University, Punjab, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Affiliated College (Adhiparasakthi Horticultural College). He also served as Associate Professor at Baru Sahib University, Himachal Pradesh. He has been a consultant to DIVINIA, United States of America, Alankar Nursery, Gujarat, Akali Farms, Tamil Nadu.
Dr. Shambhu Kumar is presently working as a Senior Scientist at Department of Forest Pathology, KSCSTE-Kerala Forest Research Institute, Kerala, India. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Botany (Mycology) from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, India. He has over ten years’ research experience. Dr. Kumar is the recipient of Fast Track Young Scientist award by SERB-DST, Government of India and worked at Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow.
He has published over fifty research papers in peer-reviewed and reputed international and national journals. He has participated and presented papers in several international and national conferences/symposia and acquired national training on Biodiversity, Bioinformatics and Molecular taxonomy. He is life member of the International Society for Fungal Conservation (ISFC), UK, Mycological Society of India (MSI), Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI), Indian Botanical Society (IBS), Society for Basic and Applied Mycology (SBAM), National Academy of Biological Sciences (NABS), Bamboo Society of India and Indian Science Congress Association.
